Au DaiLo, bien manger, c’est bien vivre ! Et ici, la manière de cuisiner reflète clairement la manière d’envisager la vie. Les ingrédients, de grande qualité et minutieusement sélectionnés, mènent à de délicieux repas, et finalement, à de meilleures existences. La nouvelle cuisine asiatique que propose le restaurant se concentre essentiellement sur les produits chinois, tout en suivant la tradition française. Au cœur du menu, vous ressentirez un respect et un amour profonds pour la nourriture, portés par le chef Nick Liu. Ses ancêtres ont dégusté avant lui les recettes avec lesquelles il travaille, pendant des centaines d’années. Les anciens plats de prédilection de cette époque là ont été revisités par le chef Liu, qui y a ajouté sa petite touche personnelle. Ils ont été adaptés à la demande moderne, qui souhaite souvent se nourrir à base d’ingrédients locaux, produits dans le respect d’une agriculture durable.

De la cuisine à l'ambiance, DaiLo est un lieu audacieux et animé. Le chef et propriétaire Nick Liu mélange les techniques culinaires françaises avec son héritage chinois pour créer des plats amusants tout en mettant en valeur ses talents culinaires. Cet espace branché attire une foule animée pour des soirées qui commencent par un dîner au DaiLo et se terminent au Lopan, le bar à cocktails situé à l'étage.

Our experience here for a birthday dinner exceeded our expectations. From the first bite to our last sip we enjoyed every moment of it. The tasting menu is excellent value for what the amount of food and variety of flavour you get. Cannot wait to come here again.

Service was excellent and attentive. Provided us guidance and flexibility with the tasting menu. Portions are fair and the tasting menu is the way to go!

As always, everything was amazing. This is my partner and I’s favourite restaurant. I’m from a small town and don’t really care for fancy dinners/restaurants, however, this is the only restaurant that i truly get excited to visit and tell others about. Amazing staff, amazing manager, and the food is insanely good!

Dai Lo is an experience you'll never forget. From the incredible service to the unreal food, you will not regret coming here. The drinks are so delicious and the food will leave you speechless. Everything is always outstanding everytime I come here! Cannot wait to be back.

We went at a busy time at 9pm on a Friday. Server did their best to accommodate dietary restrictions that was on the reservation but we had a few different people bringing the food which resulted in some hiccups with the allergy. They brought out another dish once they caught the mistake but we didn’t have a lot of confidence that the allergy was understood by all staff which impacted the experience. They comped a beer for the troubles. The food was great, the creativity of the dishes was incredible.

Incredible experience as always - forever impressed with the delicious food and knowledgeable warm service. Our favourite restaurant in the city, hands down!

It was a nice experience! Only thing I was kind of bummed about is where we were placed for seating. When we arrived it was pretty empty and we were tucked away on the top floor in a corner. Maybe it's prioritized by who makes the resos first, I don't know... but even when we left the entire patio was empty. Aside from that, a pretty great experience. Food is rich and our server, Ben, was super knowledgable and attentive (without being TOO attentive). Never felt like we were waiting on service or being rushed - it was the perfect balance of service.

The food is outstanding. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. We did the premium tasting menu which was outstanding. The octopus tacos and fried eggplant are a must. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience. My only piece of constructive feedback is the time between courses. A couple of times we waited 10-15 minutes between courses so we sat there feeling fuller and fuller, and at the end of the night we waited for 15-20 minutes until I had to flag a server down for our bill. The meal took 2.5 hours when it could’ve lasted 1:45. This was probably an isolated incident. Would absolutely recommend!

Chef’s menu is an absolute MUST. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! Every dish was different, flavours were amazing and always different and 100% worth our money. We were celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary and had an incredible time. Highly recommend.
