CUT Steakhouse offers a relaxed fine dining experience sure to please the most sophisticated of diners. Our menu's main attraction is the dry aged USDA prime beef, aged and butchered in-house by our own exacting specifications. Start your evening with a glass of award-winning wine or perhaps a popular Steak Ale. From our menu, savour a dry-aged New York Striploin, delicious Porterhouse, Kobe rib-eye or local filet mignon, all cooked to your specifications. Finish off with an amazing sampling of fine cheeses, a specialty liqueur and a decadent dessert. Downstairs, The Grill at CUT features a fun and funky atmosphere, perfectly paired with a gourmet burger menu with your choice of sophisticated toppings and sides. Take a seat in the large, comfortable bar area overlooking the open kitchen or outside on our beautiful patio overlooking the Halifax waterfront.

    Our server Mike was very attentive to our table and provided a great experience. He showed and explained the cuts of beef that were available in house and made sure to check on us throughout the meal. For food we got the alberta AAA boneless ribeyes, fois gras poutine and the scallops. All of the food was very tasty and the steaks were cooked the way we asked. This is my favourite steakhouse in Halifax, NS.

    Main course took well over 30 minutes to arrive after finishing appetizers. No word from servers during this time at all. Overall was disappointed and would not return.

    Hello Sir, Thank you for your feedback. The wait time for your main course was under 30 minutes. Your meals were within our standard time allotted between courses and you were in and out of the restaurant in under two hours. I'm sorry you did not enjoy your experience, but if you are in hurry to eat and get out maybe we are not the restaurant for you.

    From the moment you walk in the atmosphere is lovely. It was a great spot for an intimate dinner with my husband. The service was outstanding, and the food was amazing! Highly recommend giving it a try at least once!

    While everything was great, service, ambience I must say that my spouse and I had two different steak choices and compared to last time we felt the quality of the meat was not as great as before. Sauces were excellent but quality of meat was not like last year

    I ordered an Alberta Angus 14 ounce Ribeye with peppercorn sauce. I ordered it cooked medium. Was cooked medium and was tender enough but I did not find the steak or the sauce very flavorful especially for the price I was charged. Get a better steak for about half the price at the Keg or similar. Ordered fries for side they were good.

    The food and service by Keith was outstanding. Keith went above and beyond to make sure we had the best recommendations and quality food. The vibe was elegant and our steak was melt in your mouth incredible. We can’t wait to go back!
