CUT Steakhouse offers a relaxed fine dining experience sure to please the most sophisticated of diners. Our menu's main attraction is the dry aged USDA prime beef, aged and butchered in-house by our own exacting specifications. Start your evening with a glass of award-winning wine or perhaps a popular Steak Ale. From our menu, savour a dry-aged New York Striploin, delicious Porterhouse, Kobe rib-eye or local filet mignon, all cooked to your specifications. Finish off with an amazing sampling of fine cheeses, a specialty liqueur and a decadent dessert. Downstairs, The Grill at CUT features a fun and funky atmosphere, perfectly paired with a gourmet burger menu with your choice of sophisticated toppings and sides. Take a seat in the large, comfortable bar area overlooking the open kitchen or outside on our beautiful patio overlooking the Halifax waterfront.

    Everything about our evening at Cut was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal from the starting cocktails, oysters, and the table-side Ceasar salad, to the perfectly prepared steaks and sides. It was a memorable dining experience and we look forward to returning.

    Beef tartare ON POINT. I’d prefer it served without potatoe chips but it’s delicious regardless. The egg yolk on top is the cherry. Had blue dot PEI tenderloin 8oz. Perfectly cooked med. rare. 👌🏼 Mashed starch, enough for 2 and served with garlic butter. Asparagus w Bernaise (could use more Bernaise as a rule for life) Decent wine selection.

    Our meals were exceptional. The servers were top notch and go above and beyond for a full dining experience. Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to return again soon!

    we were disappointed with the food.. not up to the cut standard we are used to. Steaks were undercooked, fat not rendered down, mash was in a soup butter. Brussel sprouts had too much balsamic. Was disappointed

    Great spot for great food. Server Matt and manager Aaron were extremely friendly and helpful. This really added to my dining experience. Great selection of single malt scotch and of course a perfectly prepared steak. Highly recommend.
