CUT Steakhouse offers a relaxed fine dining experience sure to please the most sophisticated of diners. Our menu's main attraction is the dry aged USDA prime beef, aged and butchered in-house by our own exacting specifications. Start your evening with a glass of award-winning wine or perhaps a popular Steak Ale. From our menu, savour a dry-aged New York Striploin, delicious Porterhouse, Kobe rib-eye or local filet mignon, all cooked to your specifications. Finish off with an amazing sampling of fine cheeses, a specialty liqueur and a decadent dessert. Downstairs, The Grill at CUT features a fun and funky atmosphere, perfectly paired with a gourmet burger menu with your choice of sophisticated toppings and sides. Take a seat in the large, comfortable bar area overlooking the open kitchen or outside on our beautiful patio overlooking the Halifax waterfront.

    The food and service by Keith was outstanding. Keith went above and beyond to make sure we had the best recommendations and quality food. The vibe was elegant and our steak was melt in your mouth incredible. We can’t wait to go back!

    On first glance my mother was very worried about the stairs leading up to the restaurant. She also thought it was “too fancy”. That being said, the staff made us feel very comfortable and at home. Superb Caesar served table side. An experience for a special occasion.

    Great atmosphere. Staff were really good. Disappointed with the meal. Ordered the Australian WAGYU, not the quality one would expect from such a high quality cut of meat or at such a price. Very disappointed, would not recommend it at all. Edit: The restaurant reached out on this app and offered to make it right. They gave me contact info, I replied and was ghosted. Poor customer service and even worse food. A Wagyu steak should not have the word “tough” as part of its description when eating it. Avoid at all costs. They’re obviously relying on people not knowing enough to appreciate a good steak and serving substandard meat and charging prices that don’t match.

    We were so pleased to be seated on our own private patio overlooking the harbour walkway. Our service was excellent and the food was superb! Thank you for such a wonderful evening.

    Overall the restaurant is pretty good. It’s what you would expect for an expensive steak house, except we had a party of 6 and 4 out of 5 people who ordered steaks had them cooked wrong. One of our members had to return their steak due to it was extremely under when they asked for well done. For a steakhouse to get that many steaks wrong it’s unheard of. Everything else was fine, service was phenomenal as the staff are wonderful. They should think about who is doing the cooking of the steaks.

We were made aware of one of your guests steaks not being cooked well enough, but no one else in your party mentioned any issues with their meals to our staff.     The service was impeccable. The appetizers fabulous as in the scallops and shrimp. The ceasar made at table was lovely touch. The food overall was delicious. We ordered a bone in ribeye. Baked potatoe, fries, mushrooms,asparagus, onions. Steak was cooked beautifully, not as much flavor or tenderness as I had expected but overall very good. My only small negative from being to many many restaurants in the area and over NS, USA and abroad it was a little over priced. The service was 5 star plus. The cut of meat 5 star. Thank you as it wasmy husband's 60th birthday celebration and retirement in one.
