Our service was not that personal. Thought serve the lemon spicy aoli with more items it was amazing.

This was a special occasion evening out for us . Yes , the oysters were delicious, fresh and served quickly . We have frequented Current over the past 8 years . It was an amazing place for fresh seafood when it first opened . It had great atmosphere and good energy. This last visit left us flat , compared to what we have experienced in the past. The food although good , was not great . My husband had the fish stew. It was with a Thai flavored base . Let me just ust say that the chef should leave the “Thai” cuisine to the excellent Thai restaurants that we have in our area. I had the octopus and I had asked how it was prepared. It was sous vied for hours to tenderize, and was to be seared for finishing. It was very tender but the finishing was not executed correctly. The octopus came to the table room temperature and starting to soften from the searing. I also added as an à la cart one seared scallop. The cost of the scallop was $10. It came to the table cold. Leaving my entire dinner at a lukewarm temp. We did ask that scallop be removed from our bill and it was. So with Lukewarm food snd lukewarm atmosphere. Let’s just say we will be looking for a new oyster fish house for our dining out experiences.

We loved the atmosphere and vibe of this restaurant! The food was fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared! The staff was all so friendly and accommodating too - look forward to dining with you again!

I had a great time! Server was great bar was awesome and so was the kitchen and host. I will definitely be coming back

Definitely not what it used to be. Seafood tower was good, however the rest of the meal went downhill from there. Heirloom tomato salad is a great concept, but the tomatoes were ice cold and mushy. The arugula and ricotta whip was really tasty, but the salad would have been much better with room temp or even slightly chilled tomatoes, but I almost wonder if they had maybe been inadvertently frozen or got too cold and became mushy. I ordered a medium NY strip steak for my entree. I cut into it and the waiter remarked right away how overdone it was. The veggies served with it were oily, overseasoned, and mushy. They fired me up another steak that finished after my husband had finished his meal and it was just as overcooked as the first one. The waiter shook his head and apologized, stating the NY strip was "probably going to be taken off the menu because we keep having problems with it" but by then I was just ready to leave. $200 meal and I didn't leave satisfied. We used to come to current fairly regularly, but I probably won't be back after this disappointing experience.

Delicious salmon preparation, very good appetizers, great drinks, and warm and attentive service. I highly recommend it.

Always great! I have eaten here many times and just love the fish and wine! They change their menu a bit seasonally, so there is always something new to try - Delicious!
