We’re now bringing the feel of a bustling San Sebastián local bar to North London.The kitchen is run by Simon Shand, former head chef of now closed Michelin starred Leroy and fellow San Sebastián obsessive. His menu is an ode to San Sebastian Pintxo bars, offering a mix of pintxos and plates, including Gildas, black pudding with damson, sautéed mushrooms with egg yolk. In a year of enjoying some great meals, Silo has consistently delivered some of the very best. Every time we’ve visited, the experience has been flawless. Course after course of innovative, flavoursome, beautiful food. Tonight’s was the best yet. This places excites me. The evolution we’ve seen is amazing. New twists on existing dishes take each to an even higher level. And their value-driven, ‘no waste’ ethos is outstanding. Our favourite restaurant this year. So looking forward to many more meals in 2025.

Bibs in the downstairs area was fabulous. Super attentive, really quick with things and made the whole experience so amazing! Thanks so such good service!
