Ember Yard is the fourth restaurant from Salt Yard Group and has been influenced by our travels around Spain and Italy and their methods of cooking over charcoal and wood.We commissioned and custom built a bespoke, Basque-style grill and sourced some amazing single species sustainable charcoal and wood from Kent to cook with. We had a pre theatre meal at Moriti last night. Delicious cocktail beforehand as we arrived a little earlier than planned. We weren’t rushed to order food as one of our group was running late but when we did order the food came very swiftly as the waiter knew we had to get to the theatre. Delicious selection of food. All cooked freshly and arrived at the table promptly. Mackerel on flatbread was a standout for us as was the labneh and beetroot dish. Everything was delicious though. The service was also efficient and attentive.

The staff, especially Jeremy, is friendly and knowledgeable about the many wines offered here. The small plates we ordered for dinner were uniformly delicious. The Waldorf salad bites were a real treat!

I celebrated my birthday here, the food was superb. Definitely will be coming back it’s only a shame that service wasn’t the best but although food and ambiance of the place was lovely so I can ignore it. Recommend
