Opera Tavern is a beautiful two-storey bar and restaurant in the heart of central London’s theatre land. Located on Catherine Street we are opposite the Drury Lane Theatre, seconds from the Opera House, a stone’s throw from The Strand and a lovely walk across Waterloo Bridge from the South Bank. A beautiful former pub, the exposed brickwork, bold artwork and flattering low lighting help our two-story restaurant create the perfect atmosphere for a pre-theatre meal or drink. Established in 1987, Meson Don Felipe was the first Tapas Bar in London and we are still an independent, family-run business. What a perfect restaurant, fantastic location and the service was excellent. We chose the pre theatre menu which was delicious . Great wine list. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back.

Lovely place for lunch around Southwark. Nice view rooftop and a little Mediterranean garden ambience would be perfect for quick brunch with friends in the summer time. While lobster rice was delicious!
