Opera Tavern is a beautiful two-storey bar and restaurant in the heart of central London’s theatre land. Located on Catherine Street we are opposite the Drury Lane Theatre, seconds from the Opera House, a stone’s throw from The Strand and a lovely walk across Waterloo Bridge from the South Bank. A beautiful former pub, the exposed brickwork, bold artwork and flattering low lighting help our two-story restaurant create the perfect atmosphere for a pre-theatre meal or drink.     A jewel hidden in the crown of Covent Garden. Great place to while away a few hours with friends post shopping or for a celebration. Great ambiance and good staff service - well done!

    Penelope’s Unforgettable experience! The ambiance was lively and inviting. Fantastic live DJ who set the perfect mood for the evening. The food was very impressive, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staffs were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed, specially Raju !!! Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or a vibrant night out, Penelope’s is definitely worth a visit!

    Condesa proved to be an absolute gem. Every dish was a winner, but the pork belly tacos and the hummus and pumpkin seed tostadas were especially delicious. Friendly and helpful service and reasonable prices just added to the experience. Would highly recommend this cozy and slightly eclectic tapas bar.

    Overall, the experience was pleasant, with a good atmosphere, although the music could be improved. However, the table service was terrible. Despite having a reservation for eight people, we always had to go to the bar to order drinks and ask for someone to attend to us at the table. The only time a staff member approached us was when it was time to pay the bill. The waiters showed no good attitude or customer service at all. Other than that, we liked the bar, especially the experience with the salsa classes.
