Located on Catherine Street we are opposite the Drury Lane Theatre, seconds from the Opera House, a stone’s throw from The Strand and a lovely walk across Waterloo Bridge from the South Bank. A beautiful former pub, the exposed brickwork, bold artwork and flattering low lighting help our two-story restaurant create the perfect atmosphere for a pre-theatre meal or drink. We liked everything about this place, the atmosphere, the lighting, deco, the service the food was amazing (save the sangria which needs to be improved). Not too noisy. It comes at a price and we wished that tapas were a bit more generous

A superb dining experience for a birthday celebration. Our server, Max, was helpful and attentive; the portions were plentiful and the food was delicious with a great balance of flavours. I would recommend a cosy table upstairs and to not pass up the cod, lamb and pork belly dishes. We will certainly visit during our next visit.

I celebrated my birthday here, the food was superb. Definitely will be coming back it’s only a shame that service wasn’t the best but although food and ambiance of the place was lovely so I can ignore it. Recommend
