Cet ancien moulin à cidre datant de 1737 a été l'un des établissements les plus prisés du Connecticut pendant de nombreuses années, avant d'être entièrement rénové par ses propriétaires, Chris et Michelle Calvanese. L'histoire légendaire du Diorio Restaurant a commencé au début des années 1920. L'ancien Rocco Diorio proposait une nourriture traditionnelle et de nombreux souvenirs durables pour la plupart des personnes dans les environs de Waterbury.
