This was a project born out of passion, by a few shellfish seafood lovers who wanted to bring with them that feeling of fulfillment you get from seafood restaurants from Continental Europe. Here at The Shell, we aim to bring you, the freshest and highest quality products straight from the producers and fishing boats for a very reasonable price to fulfill you seafood dreams.
Deep in Theatreland, 28-50 Covent Garden is the face of the St Martin's Courtyard dining quarter. Elaborating on the group's famous DNA of hand-picked wine lists, curated by passionate in-house sommeliers, this big-sister of the famous Marylebone brasserie features a plethora of accessible and high-end wines by the glass - some exclusive in the UK (such as the Chateau de Candie from the 28-50's own French vineyard). The menu is from Julian Baris, doing what he does best - simple, seasonal modern European cuisine, cooked from-scratch on the premises, and of course big steaks juicy steaks, and lots of seafood. Design by Richard Green fuses the 28-50 no-nonsense wine workshop feel with a nod to all-things bling - bubblegum pink and sky-blue velvet armchairs at every carrara marble table. 3 dining rooms, the connoisseur's wine-bar, an extravagant champagne bar and a killer soundtrack make 28-50 Covent Garden a must for pre and post theatre or just a evening of seriously relaxed fun.
