Lieu de restauration décontracté, situé en front de mer, sur les quais du fleuve Patchogue, l'établissement The Oar sert des steaks et des fruits de mer frais et délicieux.  Les chefs préparent des spécialités comme les crevettes à la noix de coco, le T-Bone crépitant de 1 kg, les quesadillas de homard ainsi que les huîtres et les petites palourdes Bluepoint fraîches, livrées tous les jours.  Les deux salles à manger sont décorées dans un style nautique traditionnel.  La façade est constituée de portes-fenêtres offrant une vue sur l'eau.
