The Friary is situated just on the edge of Derby's lively city center. This bright, vibrant and fast paced venue is the place to be for students and revellers alike. The structure is traditional but the Decor is very, very modern. Purple walls with orange borders and the Submarine grey fire place in the games room with astro-turf may give you a heavy indication that at this venues core, it's a Sports Bar but you'd be wrong. The Menu matches the ambiance of the Friary perfectly, everything you'll need for a visit here. Wings, Sharing trays and bites such as the Sloppy Joe Hash Brown Bars which are hash browns topped with beef in a smoky BBQ sauce, bacon, grated cheese and spring onion. Fancy a sweet dessert?     Absolutely outstanding! Very attentive, friendly and warm welcoming staff. The restaurant and toilets were immaculate and beautifully decorated. Such a warm homely atmosphere. The food was incredible and worth every penny! We’ll definitely be returning soon!!

    Really lovely Sunday lunch at the Two Pigs! 4 lovely Sirloin beef roasts, puddings and starters! Staff very attentive, lovely atmosphere, beautifully presented food, great portion sizes. Roast potatoes were a big favourite! Excellent value for money - would definitely return again for a meal soon.

    Everything was perfect, food delicious and well presented. Good portion size. Limited options due to unexpected weather conditions but still catered for our different tastes and needs. Lovely pub atmosphere with open fire.

    We had amazing food and service, it was just the people. Behind us were extremely vocal and not necessarily considerate of our children. However, the food was great, service great, thanks you for having us! (Just bar the Bestwood guy next time) 🥳 Thank again guys x

    I was dining on my own at a strange time but was made to feel very welcome and given a nice table by the window. I was very well looked after by efficient and friendly staff and the food was delicious and came very quickly.
