JOIA is an Iberian restaurant, bar and rooftop located in the heart of Battersea Power Station's new neighbourhood. Conceptualised by award-winning Portuguese chef, Henrique Sá Pessoa, JOIA showcases Henrique's vibrant, unique and fresh takes on traditional dishes using the best of British and Iberian produce.
On the doorstep of the bustling Borough Market, the first Casa do Frango lies within a converted 19th-century industrial warehouse, a building full of character, complete with vaulted ceilings, arched windows and relics of the past. Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. The restaurant has become known for piri-piri chicken, with perfectly caramelised skin and a deep flavour which comes from a brush of Casa’s secret piri-piri blend. The menu offers so much more, with small and large plates all designed to share. Everything at Casa is made fresh in-house, using top quality, locally sourced ingredients. The food is complemented with an all-Portuguese wine list, cocktails, mocktails and Super Bock beer on draught. Signature dishes from JOIA restaurant, such as Octopus salad with red pepper, potato and smoked paprika and Tuna tartare with avocado and sea lettuce, alongside exclusive items for the rooftop, including the Cuttlefish Bun and Prego sandwiches. Guests can enjoy seasonal cocktails including the Aventurina, a gin-based cocktail with mint, cucumber and lime, and the Pimenta, made with tequila, agave and chilli.
