Named after Juan Díaz de Solis, a 16th-century explorer said to have been the first European to land on the country now known as Uruguay, Solis focuses on grilled chicken and steak, with flavour influences from both sides of the voyage, including Spain, Portugal, Uruguay, and Argentina. From the grill, (De la Parilla) features signature grilled spatchcock chicken with smoked Aji-Aji oil and flat-iron steak with peppery steak sauce, both served with Asador salad and crispy fries. For lunch or a quick bite, grab a Boccadillo, a soft brioche roll with a choice of grilled steak (with onion and a herby spread) or grilled chicken (with garlicky Mojo Verde and gordal olives). Finish off with a slice of Torta Queso, a creamy cheesecake with berry sauce.Find us on the first floor of Battersea Power Station.
