A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty!     This place is beautiful. The service is amazing and every single employee is super friendly, kind and generous. The food is terrific as well. We had the tomato carpaccio, a perfect way to start your meal. Followed by crispy rice and a crudo but the real show-stopper is the pizza. We had the short rib pie. All I can say is this dish is a 10. Would love to try more things in the future, will return soon. And the Rose by the glass was terrific!!! Great addition to the Wast Village dining scene.

    As always an absolutely amazing time! The staff, food and place is simply incredible! A hidden gem in the heart of Ridgewood! Definitely must try and I tell everyone about it! Love this place!

    Young and sceney and honestly I’m not part of that scene, but I was there on a Saturday night with my six-year-old and everybody was super welcoming. It was a great vibe. It was really really fun and we would definitely be back.

    Cozy, warm, basic staple food but tasty and well prepared. The tagliata was a very pleasant surprise! Will def go again. Great selection of wine as well.
