The inspiration behind the restaurant's name stems from the belief that food is art, and the culinary team at L'Artisteria Pizzeria creates masterpieces with every dish. Our dough undergoes a 48-hour fermentation process, is baked at a scorching 900 degrees in just 90 seconds, and uses quality ingredients, including Caputo flour, top-quality mozzarella, and tomato sauce sourced from California. Guests can elevate their pizza experience by pairing it with beer and wine. Gino and Toto Sorbillo are Napolitan Pizzaioli appreciated in the world for their verve and eclecticism. Their father is the nineteenth of 21 children, all Pizzaioli.
The original Sorbillo in Napoli via Dei Tribunali since 1935 still stands today and nearby, in the original house of his aunt, Gino opened “The House of Pizza,” a meeting place for the soul and cult of the city, devoted to his family, pizza and Naples. In 2014, the opened their first Milan location in San Babila.
Gino and Toto opened their first US location at 334 Bowery Street and Great Jones Street in Noho on November 28, 2017.
