Punta Corcho takes its name from the old title of what we now know as Puerto Morelos, in the Riviera Maya. Founded in 2015 by chef Daniel Ovadía, it became his first project in the region, bringing a passion for fresh and creative cuisine that pays homage to the culinary richness of the Caribbean. The menu offers a vibrant reinterpretation of seafood flavors, highlighted by the use of artisanal methods that add a unique smoky touch to each dish. The chefs have created a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, transforming local and sustainable ingredients into unique sensory experiences. Each creation at Punta Corcho is a tribute to both Caribbean classics and culinary avant-garde, making the restaurant a regional benchmark now recognized internationally with a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand.
