La Pintada es un restaurante parte de Grupo Edith’s que ofrece cocina regional de Baja California Sur enalteciendo los ingredientes regionales. Este restaurante representa un sueño hecho realidad para la chef Edith Jiménez. Después de 25 años de investigación, ella puede compartir algunos de los platillos que las familias de Baja Sur han disfrutado por más de 300 años mezclados con un menú ecléctico que incluye los sabores de la cocina mexicana y mediterránea. The history of the Corona family is extremely interesting, dates from the time of the General Ramon Corona who, during the French intervention played a fundamental role in the fall of the Emperor Maximilian. This restaurant is the guardian of the traditional techniques of mestizo cuisine, with flavors and recipes dating back to the times of the Mexican Independence until the beginning of the twentieth century. Dedicated to our grandmother Maria Corona born in 1916 in Mexico City, here you will find her traditional recipes along with her cooking secrets as they’ve been handed down from generation to generation.
