Ramiz Turkish Grill has 140 locations globally and this is the first location in the United States. Our story began with two orphan brothers born in Prilep, Macedonia at the beginning of the 20th Century. They immigrated to Turkey with their grandmother, who raised them and worked in various restaurants perfecting a recipe of grilled meatballs made by street vendors in Macedonia and opened a shop that was made famous by their speciality dish. Later in life, they expanded within Turkey and in the year 2000, opened a location which became frequently visited by politicians, artist and athletes. The principles and recipes remain the same as it's origin in 1928 as Ramiz Turkish Grill continues to expand - now in its first US location in Philadelphia's South Street.
