You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. The Watermans Richmond is an all day Restaurant and Bar in the centre of town, conveniently located on an ancient cobbled street that leads down to the waterfront.Our food is the best of British ingredients, served with a nod to southern Europe, with favourite dishes ranging from scallop ravioli to fregola, veal chops and day boat fish. We also have vegetarian and vegan options as well as delicious puddings including tiramisu, poached pears and profiteroles.We have been the site of a Public house for centuries and still offer a selection of draught beers however we have an extensive wine list focusing mostly on classic wines from Europe.The Restaurant is divided into several areas: luxurious deep leather banquette seating, bar counters perfect for lunches and more casual dining and cosy fireside dining in our upstairs room. We had a great evening at Rosso Mazara - the food was delicious and service was excellent. It was really busy but did not detract from the service.

We had a table for 4 booked for my husbands birthday - all the staff were amazing, very friendly and all acknowledged his birthday. The food was also amazing, I had the Venison which was perfectly cooked and delicious, followed by the Chocolate and Praline desert - also absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere and we didn’t feel pressured to leave, despite being the last party in the restaurant. We had a bottle of rose champagne which was quite expensive. Overall, would definitely recommend.
