Restaurant Maydanoz serves all kinds of Eastern-Mediterranean foods originating from the Mediterranean part of Turkey (Antalya, Adana, Antakya, Mersin), but also large parts of countries such as Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Greece.
We mainly focus on the Turkish Mediterranean cuisine. Our restaurant’s name ‘Maydanoz’ is Turkish and simply means ‘Parsley’. Parsley is a much-used herb in our Turkish Mediterranean cuisine.
Besides the several main courses that we prepare on our typical charcoal grill, we offer you a wide selection of different ‘mezze’. As well-known from the Spanish cuisine (tapas), in the Eastern Mediterranean cuisine these small starters are being called ‘mezze’. Mezze can be served either cold or warm.
The typical Dutch cosiness means in countries around the Mediterranean 'together'. Taking time for each other around a table full of small dishes and enjoy a glass of wine. Each ordered an average of 3 or 4 dishes per person and then everything on the table is shared socialising.
Our chef roams the market looking for seasonal products and likes to combine local produce with Mediterranean spices. In Jottum is preferably cooked with organic, fair trade, and fresh produce.
At Corendon’s All You Can Eat Restaurant, we warmly welcome you for an unforgettable culinary journey, where an extensive buffet of international cuisines awaits you every day from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
