Arros QD is the result of chef Quique Dacosta’s lifelong passion for paella and wood-fired cooking, brought to life in the heart of Fitzrovia. Everything revolves around the six-metre woodfire stove where our chefs weave their magic, with theatrical seating around the open kitchen downstairs and a classic dining experience on the upper floor. Our space was conceived by globally renowned Spanish interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, with open fires and a glazed wine cellar providing a spectacular visual backdrop in which to experience the evolution of paella. A London institution for around three quarters of a century, Fitzrovia’s Elysée Restaurant has provided an elite Greek dining experience since 1936. Still boasting all the classical elegance of the thirties, Elysée has nonetheless moved with the times, adding a sumptuous cocktail bar and glorious roof terrace with its own retractable roof to its already rather fabulous dining room and pretty garden area. The first stage of evolution began with a complete renovation of the building. Of the major structural changes, the most significant included repositioning of the staircase leading to the basement.
