Le Shackfuyu est situé au coeur du quartier de Soho. Il est dirigé par la même équipe des réputés Bone Daddies et Flesh & Buns. Inspiré par la cuisine japonaise yoshoku, un style populaire au Japon d'influence western. Le Shackfuyu sert un menu variant régulièrement et fait pour partager entre convives. Le menu du dîner se compose entre autres d'une variété de petits pains (buns) fourrés « gao bao » et d'à côtés divers.
Le restaurant propose des banquettes et des tables plus intimes pour les couples, une grande table communautaire, une salle à manger classique et une salle pour les événements privées pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 16 personnes.
Le Chotto Matte rassemble le meilleur des cultures japonaise et péruvienne et sert une cuisine Nikkei de haute qualité et des cocktails colorés.
Qu'est-ce que Nikkei ?
Il y a des années, des immigrants japonais se sont installés au Pérou pour le travail et ne pouvaient pas trouver leurs ingrédients traditionnels authentiques; c'est pourquoi ils ont utilisé des ingrédients locaux pour les substituer. C'est ainsi qu'est née la cuisine Nikkei.
