Kochi is a cozy little spot that's definitely worth a visit. We tried the chef’s sample menu, and the food was fantastic—each dish was delightful and well-prepared. I’d definitely come back for more. One downside was the service; the waitstaff didn’t really put in much effort when explaining the dishes. They rushed through the descriptions, and it was hard to catch what we were actually eating. The noise level in the restaurant added to the challenge, making it even tougher to follow along. Despite that, the overall experience was great. If you're looking for good food in a lively atmosphere, Kochi is a solid choice!

The approach is unencumbered by trends in modern Korean food. The flavors are direct and the textures are intelligently layered. Our server was impressively informed and spirited. I would absolutely recommend Naro for anyone interested in well-harmonized Korean ingredients.

All was good except for the table lamps that were old and kept going out of battery. They needed to be changed several times but all didn’t last any more than 5 min so we gave up asking for it to be changed. The Korean server and the hispanic staff were very nice and apologized. It was a bummer because the reason why I chose this restaurant was because of the ambiance since it was an important dinner. The past 2 times I dined there it wasn’t a problem though. Otherwise food was good and they put our group in a room so it was quiet.

Cho Dang House does not offer “Korean BBQ.” Instead, it focuses on stews and soups that feature meat or fish as part of the dish rather than the main attraction. It felt like I was at somebody’s mother's house, where meals are made using the same ingredients that mothers have used and perfected as a dish over years of cooking for their families, seasoned beautifully, and with a lot of love. You can tell by the people eating that this was their go-to spot. The restaurant's intimate setting (read small) is calm and relaxed. My colleague and I had a wonderful experience.
