Masuya Restaurant is located in a building, which has been designated as a cultural asset, on O’Connell Street in Sydney. This is the same place as the office of Kanematsu Gosho, the pioneer of Australia – Japan trades, was situated in 1980. An authentic Japanese restaurant reflecting the many fine meals we enjoyed in that country. Inspiring food and great ingredients, freshly prepared and presented with flair. The Spanner Crab Chawanmushi was a stand out, as was the range of yakitori and the yuzu coconut icecream for dessert. All washed down with a sparkling lychee spritz!

We went on a Friday night, a group of 6. We chose our own courses, everything was amazing. The Chiefs selection sashimi was done of the best any of us had eaten. The cocktails and wines were fabulous. Even in a very busy restaurant the staff were incredibly attentive and the meals arrived at a nice pace. We will be back and highly recommend you visit.

Busshari is always a wonderful place to eat whether it's lunch or dinner. Service and quality of food, presentation and taste is excellent.
