Green Shiso opened its door on 2016, provided an unique and warm Japanese dining experience for local customers. Owner and Chef Simon has over 10 years experience working in different restaurants in Australia, especially focusing on contemporary Japanese cuisine. He believes the key is to choose the best quality ingredients to keep the highest standard at first place. Also his team prefer to home make all the sauces and products to make our food healthy, MSG free, Gluten free, and keep the original taste of food as it is.
At the edge of the CBD, in the spectacular 22-hectare waterfront precinct where an old container terminal once stood, discerning foodies can now find some of the city’s best sushi in Barangaroo. Established in 2016, the newest addition to the Zushi restaurant empire is in Sydney’s impressive new harbour foreshore playground. Zushi Barangaroo is both stylish and comfortable, capturing the relaxed style of a typical Japanese bar or izakaya designed by the renowned architect Koichi Takada. Kuon Omakase offers a truly unique dining experience, where you can entrust the chef to create a 20-course menu of the freshest sushi and sashimi. The menu changes daily depending on the season and produce available from the local fish market. This is the same place as the office of Kanematsu Gosho, the pioneer of Australia – Japan trades, was situated in 1980.
