The Café Restaurant & Lounge Bar in the Doubletree Torrance–South Bay Hotel, crafts a delectable array of globally inspired dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner in its sophisticated and relaxed setting. If you stop by the Café restaurant for breakfast, you can enjoy lush offerings such as homemade muffins, avocado toast, and the lox. Some of Cafe's restaurant specialty entrees include a pizza flatbread, Kurobuta Pork Chop with traditional fresh herbs & pearl onion glaze sauce, fried chicken sandwich, fish, chicken, and steaks. The Cafe's handheld delicacies engage casual dining with a vibrant international inspiration like fish tacos with mahi-mahi fish, purple cabbage slaw & Pico de Gallo and fire roasted salsa. There is the Asian beef noodle soup, which pairs well with a local craft brew, domestic beer or specialty cocktail. Happy Hour runs from 3 pm to 6 pm Sunday - Thursday.
The Bistro, run by students in Culinary Arts, offers food at a fine-dining standard and features a revolving prix fixe menu with a choice of appetizer or salad, entrée, and dessert for $20, tax included. Each week the Bistro focuses on cuisine from a different region, such as Asian, Mediterranean, Southern, Latin American or French cuisine. A vegetarian option is available.
