Executive Chef Mr Alamin l-b-n Aftab was headhunted by Joy’s Managing Director and previously worked for the prestigious Taj Hotel Group and some of the UK’s top Indian restaurants. His menu includes familiar favourites like chicken jalfrezi and lamb rogan josh, alongside some house specialties like Nali Gosth (lamb shank marinated with spices, onion and tomato) and chicken green masala – a Goan curry made with fresh coriander, mint and coconut milk. Joy’s wide range of meat-free dishes will satisfy even the most demanding vegetarian and there is a popular take-away and delivery service available too.
