Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant. Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Turned up with 10 people to find that I had booked for the following night. The staff were happy to accommodate. Service was excellent, food outstanding and value for money some of the best in london.

The food is exceptional I can’t recommend this place enough. The wild boar vindaloo and the butter chicken are mouth watering! It’s so different to your normal curry house
