Bramleys is a family owned restaurant based in Oakwood, North London. Our focus is to use the freshest seasonal produce. Our kitchen works with local suppliers in order to minimise wastage as much as possible, while caring for the environment. Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. In a nod to the founders’ French roots, variations of the iconic Frites are the signature of the restaurant, which are hand-cut and twice-cooked, in either beef dripping or vegetable oil.The design of the space is centred on the expertise of wood-fired cooking, with kitchen counter seating to create a dramatic dining experience for guests. Aussi connu sous le nom de parrilla, le grill, personnalisé et importé d'Argentine, est alimenté par des combustibles naturels et permet non seulement de préparer de plats de bœuf, mais aussi de chasse, de poisson et de fruits de mer. Parmi les races proposées au 34 Mayfair, vous pourrez déguster de la viande écossaise de pâturages vieillie à sec, du wagyu australien, ainsi que du bœuf de qualité Creekstone Farm, nourri au maïs et provenant des États-Unis. Waitress was super helpful and friendly but the whole experience felt a bit cramped - the tables next to us were really close and there wasn’t much room for all the dishes they had brought out. The restaurant also smelt strongly of cigarette smoke.

Great service, from the welcome, sitting down and letting us decide on suitable seating area. The place was like an art deco gallery, they have put a lot of effort to make sure the experience is remembered. Food mains were fantastic, not a fan of the starters, maybe tweaking the flavours and cooking may be needed. Best dish honey glazed wings as per my colleagues.
