Prohibition House is a modern Canadian gastropub designed in a New York style, offering cocktails and contemporary Canadian cuisine in a space adorned with wood elements and vintage decor. Since its inception in 2016, Prohibition has become a cornerstone of the Centretown restaurant scene.
First came the pub, cheap drinks and cheaper food, then came the gastropub, an import from Britain featuring upmarket pub grub in a ale-drinking setting. Now, welcome The Waverley, which further blurs the lines between restaurant, social house and bar. The Waverley is the culmination of where the industry is heading; amazing food, unreal cocktails, cool vibes, laidback staff that know their products and what they are doing, refined tastes at affordable prices and zero smugness and attitude.
