The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Chaleureux, le restaurant est accueillant avec ses sièges revêtus de cuir vert anglais et ses abat-jours en soie faits à la main. Sur les murs, des affiches historiques de l'époque de Metroland sont accrochées, quand Brookmans Park a été construite, comme faisant partie du mouvement des jardins de banlieue extrêmement optimiste.
