Inspired by the grand cafés of Mittel-Europe, The Delaunay is an all-day café-restaurant located near Covent Garden on the corner of Aldwych & Drury Lane. Offering a varied selection of classic European food, it is open early for breakfast through to lunch, afternoon tea and dinner – two Private Dining Rooms are also available and well suited to all manner of events.
Located in the heart of London’s theatre-land, The Delaunay is perfectly placed for enjoying a meal before or after a nearby performance – a number of ‘Dinner & Show’ packages with nearby theatres are also offered throughout the year.
Open from early until late, seven days a week, reservations are recommended but tables are always available on a first come, first served basis.
A restaurant, wine bar and fermenting kitchen - we're open for lunch Wednesdays to Sundays and dinner all week. Our menu changes monthly and our cooking is simple and seasonal. It's here we make all our seasonal ferments, pickles and drinks - all of which you can buy ready jarred from our fridge. Our large kitchen counter is the centrepiece, and you’re invited to grab a seat, order something to eat and enjoy the workings of life in our kitchen. In the evening, the lights go down, dinner is served and you can enjoy wines by the glass and bottle from our ever-changing wine list of natural and biodynamic wines.

The venue welcomes guests serving a 5-course taster menu only for lunch and dinner - £49pp. On Sunday is our famous 12:51 Sunday roast menu only!The venue has a minimal, studio-like interior, dotted with quirky features from the original Victorian building. The double-height windows on the ground floor allow natural daylight to flood in and will be a space for changing contemporary artwork from artists from the local community and friends of the 12:51 team. 12:51 has a curated playlist of classic funk, soul, hip hop and rock & roll tunes to take diners from day tonight. Just to be aware that we don't cater for vegans or dairy-free. Booking could be on a high table.
