We are a family owned business located in the centre of York by the River Ouse. Our bar and bistro has gained a reputation for a wide range of beers and spirits coupled with an excellent selection of wines and champagnes. Close to The Grand Opera House and city centre, Plonkers is an ideal place to meet with friends or colleagues for a relaxed drink.Weekends at Plonkers can have a party atmosphere where you can relax after work with friends. Upstairs seats approximately 26 but we can cater for buffets for around 40 people with some standing. We now have our outside riverside area, where we serve food and drinks 10am – 9pm weather permitting.Please note that although Open Table appears to let you book downstairs or upstairs, this is a glitch with open table, and whilst we will do our best to accommodate requests, no specific tables can be booked as its down to phasing on the day,
Based in the Norton, just across the River Derwent from the market town of Malton you will find the Derwent Arms. Run by experienced couple Simon & Charlie alongside our team of staff we are the perfect place to sit back and enjoy our delicious menu with your favourite drink in hand. For the warmer days we’ve got 2 large beer terraces to the front & rear of the pub and those darker nights we dim the lights, set the ambience and make sure everything’s to our customers satisfaction.Whether it be a light lunch from our smaller plates menu served Monday- Friday 12-5pm or a two course set meal from our evening set menu served Monday- Wednesday 5-8pm we’ll be more than happy to accommodate you. On Saturday evenings we also hold live music from 8pm- why not join us for a meal followed by some live entertainment whilst soaking up the atmosphere at the Derwent Arms.Car parking to the rear with space for upto 40 vehicles, we also offer camper van stopovers.
