Located on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Lake Street, Broken English is steps away from Millennium Park, and in the center of the new vibrant hotel and residential area. On the name, Garcia says, “I speak English with my friends, and I often find myself mixing in Spanish words because there are some phrases that simply don’t translate to English. Stopped in here after work on Friday, we are met at the door and directed to our table. Our server Ethan was very knowledgeable of the menu, gave great suggestions and was engaging, he has a great sense of humor, but very professional. The food was delicious, we just enjoyed items off of the happy hour menu. The empanadas and tostadas were delicious. We will definitely be back to enjoy a full meal, their menu looks incredible. The room was a well lit. The bar was beautiful the ambiance and noise level were perfect.

Loved my experience at La Victoria! We went for a birthday and they did a great job having wonderful energy. We were so suprised when they came out with a sash, crown, and free shot/dessert! There were two other tables with birthdays and I totally agree it’s the spot to celebrate! Music was loud, but it was part of the energy.

Every dish great flavors, love the flautas, great vegetarian options for my friend butternut squash with risotto, and the chuleta was amazing. Great wine list La Antigua Reserva and Portuguese white blend delicious
