Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant. Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too. (Bombay Delight does not use any ingredient that contains artificial coloring agent or flavor in our dishes.     Amazing food and Indian Moment always delivers. Quality of the meat and prawns is always excellent and they never cut corners. Indian cooking at its best.

    A little expensive but being someone who has had a catering business and has cooked for a double Michelin star chef I have to say that the food was amazing and cannot wait to bring my family for a double birthday celebration on the 9th. The food was fresh and piping hot, extremely flavoursome and beautifully presented. The prawns were just so tender and cooked to perfection. A huge thank you to the team also, so polite and professional. I cannot stop bragging about this restaurant to everyone. Please keep to these standards as they are truly deserving of recognition. Well done to you all. Jaz
