Tuck away in a corner on the quiet Hutchinson Street in Surry Hills, Le Salle Dining has softly opened. This intimate restaurant is reservation only, and serves contemporary cooking inspired by those cuisines of the old wine countries.-We offer a 4 courses menu du jour + assortment of cheeses at $108 or a 5 courses menu du jour @ $118 p.p that changes frequently) and 1 drink min. spend on Beverages p.p. However, there are several dishes for supplements to add on. If you or your guests might have certain dietary requirements, please kindly inform us at least 24hours prior to your bookings.-We Are fully licenced, no BYO-Cancellation Fee, in the event of no show or cancellations within 72 hours to dining a $108 per person cancellation fee will apply.

We have closed for the year and will reopen 25 February 2025 with our new students. Book from 12 February. The Apprentice Restaurant Sydney is a TAFE NSW licensed training restaurant. Lunch 12pm to 2pm: three courses (entrée, main & dessert) for $44 or you can select any two courses for $39. Dinner 6pm to 8:30pm: three course menu for $44. (Our prices are excluding beverages). Group beverage packages are available to pre-purchase for the whole group.Our meals are usually served Table d’hôte (alternate drop) and portions are limited.Bookings are highly recommended to avoid disappointment. For group bookings of 11 people or more please contact us by phone 02 7920 0909 (9am to 4pm) or email si.theapprentice@tafensw.edu.au. Payment in advance is required for group bookings. We accept payment by EFTPOS, Visa or MasterCard. We do not accept cash or split bills. There is one bill per table.Dietary requirements must be advised 24 hrs in advance.

    Had a Group booking, so we had the deluxe banquet. The quality, taste and quantity of food was praised by my team and they catered well for the vegetarian in our group with personally presented plates of his own. Drink requests were pleasantly responded to quickly and the wine recommendation was well suited and right on budget to be enjoyed. Overall this is a terrific venue and several of the team have recommended ot their friends and family already.

    We had another fantastic evening at The Apprentice. Just wonderful! There was a slight timing delay between entree and main, but the kitchen recovered quickly, and the teamwork was a credit to the students. Well done!

    Amazing experience we had, service was exceptional and knowledgeable. We had the calamari, southern fried tenders and beef wellington - some of the best vegan food I’ve had and will be returning to try more!!
