Ouvert depuis octobre 2007 et occupant un site qui était autrefois une boucherie victorienne, le Hereford Road propose une cuisine britannique simple et novatrice. Tom Pemberton, l'ancien chef cuisinier du St. John Bread and Wine, utilise les meilleurs ingrédients du pays, selon les saisons. Featuring a range of small and large plates we have developed a menu that puts sustainability and seasonality at the heart of the kitchen, ensuring maximum taste and minimum waste.Working alongside Cooking Sections Climavore project on exciting new dishes, food is utilised to follow the new seasonalities resulting from the climate emergency. Fish is never farmed but line-caught, herbs are from Growing Underground in Clapham where they are grown hydroponically and seaweed features due to its high nutrition, zero irrigation properties.Even the menu has a story – it's printed on 100% recycled paper made with grass fibres at Frogmore Mill in Hemel Hempstead, on the world's first mechanised paper-making machine dating back to 1895, and still in use today.Open from 9am for breakfast, then all day dining and drinks.

Le restaurant Osteria Antica Bologna est un incontournable de Northcote Road depuis plus de 20 ans, ce qui représente une très longue période pour la scène gastronomique londonienne. Le Antica Bologna est aussi original et emballant que le jour où il a ouvert ses portes ; il évoque des images d'osterias (tavernes) de village cachées dans la campagne sauvage d'Emilia Romagne ou de collines de la Toscane et son accueil chaleureux digne d'un membre adoré de la famille. Ayant grandi dans la campagne piémontaise dans une famille qui élevait des poules, cultivait des légumes et fabriquait son propre salami, le chef Marzio Zacchi croit en l'importance de connaître la provenance des aliments que l'on consomme, et n'utilise que des produits frais de saison et d'origine locale. Cependant, en dépit de son éducation rustique, Zacchi a apporté à la nourriture de Osteria Antica Bologna le genre de raffinement qui ne peut être acquis qu'au terme de plusieurs années de formation dans les meilleurs restaurants de Londres.

Poppies in Hanbury Street was Pop’s first restaurant and the one where the journey began. The retro-diner and takeaway is close to Pop’s heart as it brought 70year old Pat out of retirement. It fulfilled his lifelong dream of opening an East End chippie and a desire to offer customers a taste of the old East End.
