WC Bloomsbury, Clapham's Sister venue continues the legacy of beguiling and bewitching spaces, descending from unassuming entrances on pedestrian level in an Ex Victorian Water Closet. Listed on Historic England’s 'buildings at risk register’ we have preserved and respected the 120 year old space, paying homage to the surrounding area’s rich history, creating a warm and inviting wine, cocktail and charcuterie bar.The venue offers rest and respite from the streets of London, with a considered drinks menu that has something for everyone - be that a glass from the thoughtful and eclectic wine list with over 30 sold by the glass or from a list of 16 signature cocktails.WC Bloomsbury’s food offering has been created to complement the drink selection. Ouvert depuis octobre 2007 et occupant un site qui était autrefois une boucherie victorienne, le Hereford Road propose une cuisine britannique simple et novatrice. Tom Pemberton, l'ancien chef cuisinier du St. John Bread and Wine, utilise les meilleurs ingrédients du pays, selon les saisons. Featuring a range of small and large plates we have developed a menu that puts sustainability and seasonality at the heart of the kitchen, ensuring maximum taste and minimum waste.Working alongside Cooking Sections Climavore project on exciting new dishes, food is utilised to follow the new seasonalities resulting from the climate emergency. Fish is never farmed but line-caught, herbs are from Growing Underground in Clapham where they are grown hydroponically and seaweed features due to its high nutrition, zero irrigation properties.Even the menu has a story – it's printed on 100% recycled paper made with grass fibres at Frogmore Mill in Hemel Hempstead, on the world's first mechanised paper-making machine dating back to 1895, and still in use today.Open from 9am for breakfast, then all day dining and drinks.
