Gin & Cocktail Bar The original 1840s sandstone walls of the building Frank Mac’s now occupies a 120-person capacity bar which flows from outdoor seating on George Street, across two levels and into a back courtyard. Whereas the downstairs space feels cosy and intimate, dotted with vintage leather banquettes, dark jade and light orange velvet armchairs, low tables and a fireplace, the ground level you’ll walk into off George Street will reflect the energy of the bartenders working behind the almost five-metre-long oak bar. A handful of bar stools provide the perfect vantage point to take in the cocktail mixology while the dark velvet curtains, worn leather banquette seats and cosy fireplace of the ‘Snug’ provides groups of up to eight with a private space to retreat and relax.

Due to the limited number of seats and to ensure a better experience for all guests, we do not accommodate walk-in groups of more than three people without a prior reservation.Please note that reservations will be held for a maximum of fifteen minutes. We only allow entry once the reserved number of guests have arrived. The dining time is limited to 90 minutes.
