Ouvert en 2006 par le restaurateur de renommée mondiale Michael Chow, le MR CHOW - TriBeca est le restaurant qui a reçu le dernier 5 Star Diamond Award par l'American Academy of Hospitality Sciences pour son excellence, son service et sa cuisine, c'est la deuxième adresse après la principale de NYC sur la 57th Street. Cette dernière adresse branchée est entourée d'une terrasse et d'un joli bar qui ouvre à 17h00 tous les jours. Le NY Magazine a écrit en 2006 : « Manger au restaurant Mr Chow, c'est comme participer à une fête itinérante, qui a migré à travers 4 décennies, 3 continents et une myriade de raviolis à la vapeur ».     Shan was recommended by a female duo I follow on IG...bklynmavens. The experience surpassed my expectations, every dish was delicious with a bit of spice but not to overwhelm. My dinner companion does not eat meat and our waiter suggested the Dan Dan noodles without pork and it was a home run, she's currently looking up a recipe online to attempt it at home lol. She had the prawn dry pot as well and we both did the happy dance when tasted. I was not disappointed with my duck entree that came with buns, duck was cook to perfection and the sauce was perfect for that meal. We split the coconut cotta dessert, different for us but a welcomed change, tasty yet light. We will definitely return with others to experience Shan. Thank you for the good food and service!
