The Coffee Room grew from a small Italian coffee shop by the same name. The aim then is the same as now: to create a warm and welcoming space where different people can come together from their local community to enjoy fantastic food and drink for a reasonable price. We build lasting relationships with local businesses and groups and aim to be more than just a coffee shop. To our loyal clientele, we are a local meeting place, a good neighbour, a welcoming friend, a treat for your loved ones and a mainstay of the community. We offer the customer a cosy, relaxed and intimate dining experience with a friendly, welcoming service.This venue boasts a secret garden surrounded by brick walls and soft lighting with a waterproof awning and heating for the wetter, colder months. Spent a whole day here… starting with family film club in the very comfy basement cinema followed by a chilled afternoon while the kids were kept entertained by the brilliant leaders at “The Kids Table”. Highly recommend lounging in the wraparound hotel lobby sipping on cocktails and watching the world go by…

Ambience was great, food could have been better (the scrambled eggs were a bit too runny for me) and presentation could have been better as well. A lot of banging of plates and cutlery in the kitchen which was a little loud and distracting.
