Located within the National Portrait Gallery, Portrait Cafe is the perfect location to rest and rejuvenate in between exploring some of Australia's most renowned artwork. This beautiful light-filled space with an expansive terrace, offers a casual dining experience in a relaxed environment serving a selection of dishes suitable for all-day dining. The food is fresh, homemade where possible and features seasonal produce from local community-focused producers. There is a broad selection of home-baked pastries, cakes, snacks, freshly made salads and sandwiches complemented by a selection of coffee, soft drinks, wine and beer.

Our third city store, located facing Constitution Avenue, this location showcases everything we're well known for. Our goal is to serve the freshest ingredients possible and growing them ourselves allows that to happen. With a focus on seasonal ingredients our menu is short, but the specials are ever changing. Six-metre ceilings, wrapped in beautiful glass, facing north-east with views of the water.Serving all of our favourites, some of the best coffee in Canberra, and awesome vibes all year long. It’s our sunny site for the south side and we couldn’t be prouder.Come for breakfast, brunch or lunch, or grab a takeaway coffee, chai or hot chocolate before setting off towards Lake Tuggeranong.Greenway is a nod to everything we hold dear, not least of all, the fact that it’s a collaboration with friends. Tim and Tristan, who used to manage Aranda but spent 2016-2019 setting up their own successful store Atlas on Hibberson in Gungahlin, helped us make this (rather large!) slice of paradise a reality.

Love coming to Fox & Bow at both locations. The service is great and the people very friendly. The food is great. I love the zucchini fritters and the omlettes. Thoroughly recommend this cafe.

Went for coffee and cake with friends. It very crowded and a little noisy inside, however I should have booked an outside table. The manager kindly moved us to an outside table once one was available, and it was very pleasant. The coffee was very good, as were the tarts and muffins we ordered. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we will definitely return.

We sat outside looking towards the lake and the High Court building. Was a bit warm but sheltered from the sun. Food was served promptly and was very good.
