The first time I went, 30 minutes before they closed. The ambiance and aesthetic of the restaurant caught my attention. However, the service at that time was horrible. As an empathic person, I figured it was late, the person at the bar had a long day, so I left and decided to give them a second chance a few days later ( I rarely do this.) I’m glad I did. The server I had THIS TIME was SUPER pleasant. Made me feel right at home. Made great food recommendations. The nachos were delicious the R&B fav. Wings were awesome ! Overall, glad I didn’t let my first impression dictate if I’d come back or not.

We were visiting Tampa on business and needed to find a casual, relaxing place to eat on a Saturday evening. We were happy to find District South Kitchen & Craft near our hotel. The menu options were perfect for a relaxed dinner. Service was great, even while it was packed. Staff is very accommodating, polite, and great at keeping things flowing. Since we wanted a bit of relaxing quiet time, I highly recommend reserving seating outside on their patio. On a Saturday evening the inside seating is quite lively and was too noisy for us. The staff was very accommodating to getting us a table on the patio. Highly recommend making a reservation since they can get busy. One of the few nice places to eat to get good quality food that is not chain fast food in this area of Tampa. We really enjoyed and appreciated our dinner.

We’ll definitely come back for football and brunch Sunday!
