Food was phenomenal, service from Neal and team was amazing, vibe was immaculate. Can’t wait to return. What we ordered, Endive salad - beautifully balanced and fresh Seafood tower - so fresh and amazing flavours. Only note is that the crab legs are very much whole so was a little difficult to shuck ourselves but we managed. Popcorn clams and mussels - light, crispy, delicious. Order it!! Skate wing - Cooked perfectly, surprising flavour combinations but worked so so well Surf ‘n’ turf - ugh, amazing. Perfectly cooked lobster, crispy sweetbreads, sauce was nicely seasoned and rich NY strip - nicely cooked and great flavour. Only note was that although cooked perfectly mid rare, the actual temperature of the steak was a little cold but not a huge deal English chips - best french fries ever eaten. Malt powder and beef fat, can’t go wrong Banoffee pie - very rich, could use a smidge of acidity to cut through it but still excellent Drinks are also great. Both alcoholic and non. Had too many of each to remember for this review. Overall, fantastic night. Will be back many times.

The Hostesses were smiling and happy to greet us as we walked in, that's a great start! The table for two and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Our server, Hosanna, was outstanding! Quick, polite, attentive, wonderful smile! Very fast food service! My wife got the stuffed chicken, moist, tasty, delicious! I got the rib eye, very good, cooked med rare and garlic mash and veggies, wow! And the Tiramisu, OMG, moist, not too sweet, you will not be disappointed in it! Just a very pleasant experience start to finish! Thank you Fox on John's! We'll be back!

My friend Richard and I enjoyed a really pleasant meal (Veal Sweetbreads with Spaetzle) and a dark, stout on draught. I love the vibe at the Oxley, their service was prompt and informed, and we were in and out with good time to get to our show.

We had the December afternoon tea. The turkey with tiny stuffing finger sandwich was so good. Little Minced pies were a pleasant surprise. The ginger bread cookies and the dark chocolate mini rolled cake work well with the dark English breakfast and Oolong Creme tea. It was a tasteful festive experience! Oh, they got pretty antique cups this time. They are thin and wide proper tea cups. Nice touch!
