We had always wanted to open a restaurant, but never imagined we’d find one in such a perfect location. Il Palio is a great new restaurant. It's in a nice location, well furnished and genuinely feels lifted from Italy. The staff were incredibly friendly and happy to have a chat, and both the drinks and food menus had great options. We ordered the Antipasti Parmigiana di Melanzane, Ravioli Porcini, Ragù D’Anatra and the Tiramisu, they were all fantastic and I'd recommend them to anyone. Worth a stop and we will be coming back.

The food was generous and delicious. Unfortunately there weren’t not enough wait staff so service was slow though everyone tried their best. We sat for a long time before drinks were served and I was surprised that we were charged for water and coffees. Overall, a lovely experience that could have been improved with more staff.
