We are a first come first serve all day restaurant. Walk-ins of all party sizes are encouraged at any time!Our journey started on a quiet West Village street called Carmine. Two brothers, Dave and Pete, made a bold decision. Without any business experience, any real plan, or anything resembling a thought beyond getting through the day, we opened a restaurant. What we had lacked in experience we made up for with spirit and creativity. We did not want to be businessmen. We were artists. Our little shop at 33 Carmine St. was our original canvas. We set out with a simple mission: to create a place where people would want to be. We named it after our dogs, Moose and Goose Lane. Our Flatiron location in September 2020.

Founded by two sisters, natives of Trinidad who were raised in the heart of New York City, 2 Chix opened its doors for dine-in in 2022. Since then, Tinnil, one of the founders, has taken the reins as the owner and operator, infusing her passion for both her cultural heritage and the city she calls home. Adding a family touch, her younger brother joined as the head cook in the early years. Since opening its doors, 2 Chix has quickly become a cherished part of the local dining scene.

Recreation is a communal and lunch space by day and a cocktail lounge by night - serving as the ultimate living room for the neighborhood. Drawing inspiration from the rec room at your neighbor's house, Recreation features an old school Arcade Machine with games like Ms. Pacman, Centipede and Donkey Kong, Jenga, and - designed to host events or just play ball - a half court-sized basketball court.Please note, the kitchen closes at 10pm; the last order we take is at 9:45pm.
