Staff were friendly and chatty, but not very attentive. Had to ask for drinks menu twice (first person obviously forgot.) My mum has a dietary requirements for her health and the hotel was very accommodating and she was so happy to sit down to a full meal where she can't always have much off any menu (no salt). The staff were professional, warm, hospitable and friendly. The only point was we had never been to the venue and didn't realise how busy the rooftop was. But just an FYI for anyone booking end of December 2024 - Open Table is still taking your bookings but MJs is closed for Christmas until January! We made a a booking thru Open Table and even had to confirm the booking and showed up to a closed restaurant with a sign on the door saying closed til Jan.
