Situated in a private wood-panelled dining room on the ground floor – once used as the former Bank Manager’s office – Lutyens Grill serves lunch and dinner. The old-school grill feel is enhanced by traditional trolley service – choose your steak and soak up the cosy atmosphere. On Fridays there will be a £100pp three-course set menu featuring unlimited 44-day-aged rare breed prime rib, carved tableside from the trolley. From 3 November, Lutyens Grill will open on Sundays with our unlimited prime rib set menu accompanied with all the roast dinner trimmings.Please be advised bookings are for dinner guest only. La cuisson au barbecue s'est développée dans le sud des États-Unis où les cuisiniers ont appris à cuire longuement des morceaux de viande dans un foyer extérieur afin de les attendrir. L'exposition à la fumée du brasier apporte une saveur particulière à la viande. Le processus prend plusieurs heures, en laissant la viande tendre et juteuse.
Notre fumoir primé provient des États-Unis et il est conçu pour recréer le processus de cuisson de ces foyers d'origine. Nous utilisons des essences traditionnelles américaines de caryer et de mesquite pour donner une saveur de fumée, et la viande reste dans le fumoir jusqu'à 16 heures.
